Use only VBA to change ribbon Excel 2007

    Hello,

Is it possible to use just VBA code within a workbook to change the Excel 2007 ribbon?

In particular I want to remove the command "Allow users to edit ranges" from the Review tab.

    thanks and best regards,
    tasos

I don't believe so, no. You can hide the whole Ribbon, but I don't think you can disable individual controls without XML.
Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.

I'm not 100% sure about my own existence.
I would say 99% sure, but I am occasionally wrong.
