Pivot Field Selection

Hi,
I have created a spreadsheet with multiple Pivots I would like to write a macro that selects and updates one of the page fields for each Pivot.
i.e. the date field needs to be updated each month when the month changes
I have tried and end up changing the Field description to the date I want as the value.
Hope this makes sense
PS need to refresh the pivot first and can do this.
