Autofilter with 3 or more rows

I thank royUK very much for the post I made with "Autofilter with color" but the trouble is that there is a large cell by each of the color cell about 4 rows wide with text (sorry royUK I did'nt have these large cells in the old attachment).

When I switched to Autofilter in ColumnD for the red ones, the large cells with texts became only 1 row wide which left some of the original text out.

Is there a vba code that can keep those large cells while search in autofilter?

I've enclosed an attachement to get an idea, thank you.

Can't you use Wraptext in the cell's format?
    Hope that helps.

Re: Autofilter with 3 or more rows

I've done that in large cells. But when click on 3 in autofilter in ColumnD, the large cells become one row wide instead of 4 rows wide.

I want to others to see reports in the large cells on the right after they done autofilter on 3.

If you click on the top arrow for autofilter and choose 3, you'll find those large cells will miss out some words.

    Hope this is clear, thanks

They are not large cells they are Merged cells. These will always cause problems both with worksheet functions like AutoFilter & with code. Best find an alternative method

Ah, so that's why (silly me)

Is it possible to just have text box on the right instead of merged cells and still be able to see the original size text box after autofiltered?

I can't even see how AutoFilter will work with all those empty rows in the table of data

I've text those empty cells in white, that's why those empty rows are invisible and autofilter works
