    Question Timestamp format

    Help!
My date/time data is exported in this format 01/16/2009 8:01AM. I need it in this format 39829.33403. How can I insert a space between the time and AM in large quantities of data in order for it to automatically convert to the time stamp format?

    Re: Timestamp format

    Welcome to the forum.

    You could use a formula: =(LEFT(A1, LEN(A1)-2) & " " & RIGHT(A1, 2) ) + 0 and format the result as 0.00000

Or select the column, replace AM and PM with " AM" and " PM" (sans quotes), and format as above.
