    Creating a Journal

    Hello everyone,

I am working on a journal for my service orders. I need to keep the SO#, client, etc. Whenever it comes to the service done, I would like to have a list of the things done as well. But I have not been able to do that with my code.
In other words for the service done, if it was more than 2 things done then I need to show that I have done the 2 job#'s.

Does anyone have any idea on this code?

    Here is my workbook.

    Thanks!

    Hello sentinela,

This project keeps evolving. It is easier to have a UserForm marshal the data when multiple worksheets are involved. I am lost on how you want to arrange the data now. The template I understand, but where and how the other data is to be handled - got no clue. Can you provide some examples?
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Re: Creating a Journal

    Leith,
    Thanks for the answer.
I will definitely have some kind of switch board for the project.

Basically when I create a SO, once I get the final amount, I would like to click and take all into the journal. For example when I do the painting and cleaning to the same SO#, then I would like to have all that in the journal.

Mainly my goal in doing that is, when I have to edit an invoice, I would like to be able to load the user form from the journal. I do not know if that is possible, or if you have some other idea for that. Many times I have to go back edit the invoice, I am trying not to type all over again.

Anyway, here is an example of what I am trying to do.

Thank you so much for your help!!!

    Hello sentinela,

Okay, I understand what you want to do here. Editing a database is much easier with a UserForm. I'll start working on the code to read and write data with the UserForm.
