Trying to get the total percentage

Im doing an analysis for my boss for receipts for last year and this year.
By month, then total spent. and at the end i need the total percentage of each year total spending.

and to top it off this website doesn't let me upload the file. The second I click on the browse button it kicks me out and closes all my web pages that I have open.

I cant figure out how to get the percentage of each year.

I have excel vista.
I know how to do percentages but not just out of one number. or maybe i just really dont know how to. lol

You may find you will get more responses if you outline your expected results (albeit calculated manually) -- it's not clear at all as to what it is you're trying to achieve... if you want to calculate the % of Total spend in Col E versus Total Spend in Col B then:

E18: =E17/B17
formatted to %

Anything more than that will require far more detail on your part I'm afraid.
