Re: Assign macro to a hyperlink

    Hi All,

I am a complete novice at this stuff. Can some one give an example to run a Marco call "Update" by clicking on cell B5?

Does there need to be a standalone macro for the select cell case to run trigger activation of another macro?

    Thanks,

    James

Not sure that you need a hyperlink.

You can use the Select event. When you select the cell, it would run the code. Right click your sheet's tab, View Code, and paste.
