2 Input Box into 2 cells in the next empty cell in a range

Hi, I have a problem that I have posted on another site as well but haven't gotten any responces yet. So I thought I would post here as well.

Here is what I'm looking for if anyone has any input.

I found this script and tried to make it do what I wanted but It is not working like I planned. Can someone point out maybe a better way or correct the problems in this script?

What I want is when someone clicks a button I want it to search column HZ and find the first empty cell then an input box will pop up asking for the last name, I then want that value placed in Column HZ
Then:
another input box will pop up and ask for the first name and place that in Column IA
Then:
After that I would like Column IB to look at both HZ and IA and enter the persons First name and First initial of last name
Finally: I would like the list in IB to sort automatically.

Here is what I gathered searching around. But it isn't working.

I'm only looking in for example range HZ5:HZ100
