Macro to reformat worksheet into another format

Hi,

I have an input worksheet in the format "Work Item Status Expanded" worksheet.I am trying to create a macro to reformat the worksheet into the format mentioned in "Desired format" worksheet.
The cells in both the worksheets have been marked in Yellow and grey to highlight the input fields.

I am novice in VBA and hence any help in this macro in this regard would be highly appreciated.
