error unhiding a row

I get an error (Method 'Range of object _Global' failed) when attempting to unhide a row in a worksheet.
I require this line of code to display a certain row if the range named R_AAAH exists.
This specific named range does not exist.
But when using On error ..... why should i still get this errror ?
And how can i solve it.
I was hoping to avoid testing if the range exists first.

Re: error unhiding a row

Hello wotadude,

The code syntax is correct and works on my machine correctly. Have you retyped the code? I have found on occasion this works for problems that shouldn't be problems. If you still have trouble, post your workbook for review.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

Remember To Do the Following....

1. Use code tags. Place
before the first line of code and
after the last line of code.
