CommandButton function

Hello guys,

maybe there is an easy solution but i didnt find it yet. I want to put an Command Button into an Excel sheet that can do the following:
Based on a calculated value in another Cell this button should as a result generate in the same sheet a list of different documents that are lying on a server

Based on the value these documents can be different.

As exmample
The Calculated Value is 1 so you click the button and the list will contain 5 documents, or at least the path to these docs
The Value is 2 then there are 7 Documents to show in this list.

Is something like this possible or am i on the wrong path.

Any idea is much appreciated.

The documents are in a directory on our Fileshare.
The name that is mapped for this share is in the loginscript .e.g.

N:\\documents\templates1\doc123.doc

where templates 1-5 are the directories with the documents

The value that is calculated is comming from a formula that calculates based on different questions what Value a project has and therefore what docs have to be used to have a clear documentation.

So when the value is 1 and you click the button there should be a list with the documents in templates1 when the value is 2 go to templates2 and so on.
