I need some help writing a VBA code for importing data from an external file.
Can you user enter the location of the file by browsing?
While doing it manually, I import the data and format it as text in the import dialog box.

Hi,
Try using the macro recorder and record your steps.
When done stop the recorder.
You can now view what you just recorded.
Hope this gets you stared.
