Can VB bring up a windows SaveAs file menu?

I would like VB to initiate a file save-as function and have the windows file menu pop-up - where the menu listis the file save directory, list of files currently in that directory and a place for me to type in a file name if I choose.

E.g. I would like it to behave exactly as if I had choosen excel's File->Save-as options, only initiated via VB code.

I assume that this requires using the Winodws API but I have searched all over for a reference on how to do this and I can't find one.

    Any ideas?

Ken - Thank you, thank you.

I'm new to vb, as you can guess, and I have been beating my head on this problem for the last few hours.

    Thanks,
    Gps
