How do you enable trust for PDFs

I have several PDF files hyperlinked in excel and when you click on the hyperlink it asks....

"Some files contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer. It is important to be certain that this file is from a trustworthy source."
"Would you like to open this file?"


The PDFs are my own so I trust them and do not want the menu to pop up everytime I try to click on one. I have tried the tools>options>security but I have found nothing that stops the menu from popping up.
