define a name in active cell only

    Hi all,

    Maybe a simple question
Searching the board and google don't give me the right answer

How can I define a range, only for the active cell?

    Thanks in advance
    Hein

    The line:

    seems to do the trick

    Thanks Stephen

People who type as slow as I do look for all sorts of ways to abbreviate everything, Stephen. I am doubly motivated as you frequently beat me in responding ...

shg, I'm not sure about that, but even if it were true it merely brings to mind various sayings such as "more haste less speed", "look before you leap"...
