    Looping and Matching Data Problem

    Hi

I need add a new worksheet that outputs sheet name and box 7 data for each sheet onto a master spreadsheet.

I have been playing around some code but adding a third loop is a bit of nightmare and not ideal so I've just output to msgbox for testing per.

Would application.match be better to use than the 'is like'?

    Any input, most appreciated!

    Cheers

    Danny

Ok I have modified to sort of get what I want, but now this seems to pull out the figure out from the first worksheet only and then seems to get stuck in an endless loop.

'Subtotal' only appears once in this column so it should move move on after finding?

Actually this does work. It's just a really slow loop.
Any suggestions how I could speed it up?

    Cheers

Instead of looping through all cells in column AW try recording a macro of your actions when; selecting the column & then using Find (ie [ctrl F]). Then review the resulting code & modify as needed or repost with a specific question.

I think after glancing at your code that this will remove the need for a loop at all.

For a detailed example of using Find, look at Tushar's page:
