    Wink Grouping and sorting data

    Dear all,

i have a query regarding the sorting of data. I have a table of data say A, B, C etc, however D has 2 sets of data (please see attached for illustration)

When I sort the data by 'total amount', I would like the two sets of numbers for D and G to be grouped together, is there anyway that this can be done?

Thanks for your help in advance!

    Cheers,
    JA

I created a "Helper column (D)" an used the formula
    =IF(C2="",C3,C2)
in cell D2 and copied it down to D10.

Then i selected A2:D10 and sorted the data by column D (Largest to smallest).

    See file attached.
