    Input Boxes to find data

    Hi, (& happy new year and all of that)

    Got a problem where i'm trying to use input boxes to find the data between 2 dates. Basically i have a sequential list of dates in Column A, lets say 1/1/09 to 31/12/09. What i need to do is use input boxes to highlight say all the info between 6/1/09 and 2/2/09, and then copy all the data int his highlighted range (including what is in columns c,d,e,f & g) onto another sheet.

    All i have is this code so far;
    HTML Code:
    And i'm not to sure if even this is the right way to go about it, sorry still a wee nubie, can have a go at most things but just on a sytax level this one is doin' my head in.

    Thanks in advance

    You can get the dates like that then use them to filter the data using AutoFilter.

    Try filtering the data manually using a custom filter with the macro recorder runing. This will generate basic code that you can post back & we can tidy it up.
    Hope that helps.

    Getting the idea

    Roy,

    ok, get the idea, but 2 things. I recorded the macro and looked at the code and its fairly simple to follow (i think). But when i run the macro again the list just disapears even after i reset the search criteria (or at least the seach criteria do not seem to work 2nd time around).

    From the code generated i got what follows and i've been a little presumtious an added some other code (with dodgy sytax (i need to learn more formerly methinks)) that would suit the purpose. I can run the macro from a command button placed on the full systems 'front end'. Once again, i'm getting ahead of myself, heres the code and again, thanks in advance.

    You don't need to write the dates to cells, try
