    Smile Macro - Hiding the Columns by Clicking on the Validation tab

    Hi All,

    Please help me for the below :

    I have a Spread sheet Which Contains the project name for which i have given validation apart from this i have 4 Columns as Estimate,Actual,Review&Rework along with the Status Aside.

    Now the Status & Project name Cells will remain same but when i select certain project from the validation cell i should get the 4 Columns as Estimate,Actual,Review&Rework in the first 4 Columns and if i select the 2nd Project these first project details should hide and again show 4 Columns of 2nd project should be shown upto and i have upto 35 projects with different names but once i click on the project name the column should display the 4 Columns with the given names as Estimate,Actual,Review&Rework .

    Please find the sample excel sheet attached and a immdeiate help would be appreciable

    Macro

    I did not use a macro as I think it is unnecessary. Please look at the sheets attached and tell me what you think. I used dynamics names with offset and index functions.

    Macro Needed for Hiding the Columns by Clicking on the Validation tab

    Hi Can you Check out the formula it is showing as Error in the sheet 1.As the formula entered in Summary Sheet Shows the values in the Project_data which Starts from Work 5 but here in the summary it is reflecting in the Work 1 Cell please can you help me and also please explain me this formula as this works great.

    Thanks for your help in this aspect.
