Compare common variables across two worksheets

    Hello,

I have 2 worksheets with a list of numbers (emp ID's) in a column. One worksheet has a list of numbers from people who have taken a survey. The other worksheet has a list of numbers with both people who have taken the survey and ones who have not. I would like to compare both lists to each other to find the numbers that have not taken the survey and put it into another worksheet?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    See attached.

Insert a column to the 'Total' tab to the left of the data, so it's column A.

Put in cell A2 of 'Total' tab and drag down:

Create a new worksheet and copy the header from 'Total' tab to cells A1 thru D1.
In cell 'New Worksheet'A2 add this, drag to column D2 and down.

    Yawnzzz,

Perfect! Thank you. I missed a step and read over.

    Yawnzzz,

Thanks for the quick reply, very close! I actually think I understand it but could not figure out how to get the e-mail adresses over to the new worksheet also?

    Any assistance?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi slipit; I saw this one was still open & thought the following might help. Code also in the attached. If your data is in different columns, just update the constants and everything else will run ok.

    Hope that helps. MM.
