Ranges of cells in VBA

I am trying to understand how to make reference to different cells from VBA. Here is some example code of a range of cells.

Does this refer to Column A and Row 1 ?

You should always use Code Tags.

The range in the code is A1, because you haven't specified a sheet it will be on the activesheet. Although the use of .Cells should indicate you are3 using a With statement
