Smile Force Excel to direct user to a specific worksheet upon opening

Hi There, I'm new here. I hope I've posted this question on the right forum!

How do I get a spreadsheet to open on a specific worksheet each time? I notice that when you're working in a spreadsheet, it seems to open up where you last made a change instead of at the front worksheet (which is what I want it to do). I hope this question makes sense.

    thanks in advance

    Auto select sheet when open

This can be done with VBA,Place this code in the workbook module
Use this link to see where the workbook module is located

Change the sheet name as required
Macros will have to be enabled when the workbook is opened, for this to work.

    Didn't seem to work

    Hi davesexcel,

I tried your tip but it didn't seem to work. I've attached the spreadsheet. Are you able to tell if I did it correctly or not?

    Cheers

    Workbook Module

I did follow the instrcutions in your link orginally and pasted the code. I then renamed the "Sheet 1" section to no avail.
