Scrollbars on a multiline textbox

Hi all,

I have a multiline textbox with both vertical and horizontal scrollbars enabled but when the box gets filled with many rows of text, the buttons on the scrollbars do not work (I have to click inside the textbox and scroll up).

The scrollbars appear but are non-functional.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere.

Hi Roy, thanks for the reply.

My textbox can handle 23 lines of text but I have populated it with 500 lines.

I can click in the textbox and used my up/down keys to move through lines 1-500 or simply drag my cursor but the scrollbars just sit there non-functional.

I will have users who would not think to use the up/down keys and assume the spreadsheet is broke.

my apologies, very silly mistake (should have known better)

My scroll bars were on my form and not my text box.

I only realised when I had to make my form bigger and it became apparent that the bars stretched the full length of the form (much bigger than the text box).
