    excel file on a website

    Hi everyone,

I made an excel form for our branches vehicle inventory and it working the way it should be when I'm running it from my local drive.

Since the inventory change every so often, I decided to upload the excel form to a website so that the branches always gets the most updated excel form but now the vbs command line:

won't work anymore. Can anyone point me to the right direction.

I think you will find that the workbook will need to be on the computer for the VBA to work.

Note also that it is generally unnecessary to activate a workbook
    Hope that helps.

Since our branches has to do the inventory everyday, the macro saves a copy of the inventory to the local drive. In doing so, the main inventory worksheet goes to the background and I want to make it active again for further processing.

What do you mean "goes to the background"?

    Minimise, hidden ?

From the main worksheet, the tab called "collected" is copied, then a new workbook is added, then the data copied then gets pasted. This new workbook is then saved and closed. My question was how do I make the main worksheet as the active window again?

When I was running it from my local drive, I've no problem making active again by adding a line to make the main worksheet active. When I loaded it to a webpage, the main worksheet would open up in the internet browser so the command "windows(filename).activate" doesn't work anymore.
