I am trying to create a Template form in Excel for a Request For Quote form.
I would like every time a new document is saved from the template it will give it a new Document number(serial number) in a cell that i specify.
I don't know if the consecutive numbers I want to use should be referenced from DBASE function, a Worksheet, or an XML map.
I am new to Excel 2007 and have not taken any lessons on how to use macros or VBA specifically before..
I understand full well there potential uses and streamlining benefits, but with out any physical training on how to use them I am more or less lost actually trying to apply the concepts.
I really need to make this form successful.
