Inserting Text

I have cells that have information in the I need to insert a string before the text
example
765-555-1212

need it to be
Tims_house_765-555-1212

=concatenate("Tims_house"&A1) where A1 is the cell location of the phone number.

My spread sheet has about 3000 entries to do will this work for all of them?

Just add a new column and copy this formula to the first row, then autofill the remaining rows. The A1 cell will change relative to the row that is being used as the phone number.
