Hiding unwanted row fields from Pivot Table

Hi Experts,

I am a newbie for vba and this is my first post in excelforum.

I need help on hiding pivot table row fields based on a list in another file.

The engineer name list is available in c:\Data_analysis\Reference Table.xls.

And i have a macro which imports text file from same path and makes a pivot

table for good and defective inventory holding. Here the pivot table shows

other engineers who are not part of my division.

I want to hide those engineer details in the pivot table who are not there in my list in reference table.xls

Can anyone help with a code snippet will be highly appreciated.
