I have a company project and need to input scanned barcode data into a spreadsheet. The barcode is alphanumeric and each field starts with a unique alpha qualifier. I want to be able to automate the process to the extent that upon scanning a barcode the scanned data is entered in the appropriate column (based on it's qualifier.) Is this possible? Is it relatively easy to do?

For example qualifiers are A,B,C,D & E and correspond to columns A,B,C,D & E.
