    Macro - linking to worksheets

    Hello All,

I could use a little help regarding some macro help. I need to be able to link two sheets together in one workbook.

Here are my issues. I have an inventory sheet that has a bunch of different stuff in it. What i need is to be able to link to the order form when stuff gets low, so i can send the order out. I have attached a the sample worksheet to show you what i mean. The items in Green are what needs to be orderd and quantity. I was wondering if i could just make a button that would populate they order form with whats needed to be orderd. Including the part number and discription.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks again
    Mikey

    Hello mickeydaman,

    Welcome to the Forum!

The following macro is attached to a command button on the Inventory sheet. This will automatically add the quantity, part number, and description of any of items to be reordered to the Reorder form. The attached workbook already has the button and macro added.

I figured it out i got the button to work, Just did a command button.

One last thing Leith i promise

Ok so now i have the order form filled out and its ready to be e mailed out. Is there a way to set up a command button/macro to not have someone else re order those parts. All those If formulas will reset back once the new stuff arrives into inventory.

Thanks again, if not i can just make easy by adding a column with date ordered.

    Sorry Leith,

What am i doing wrong here? I had to add 2 more columns to populate that order sheet. This is what i have. It populates the columns but with the same info and not the Unit Cost and Total Cost
