    technique:Protecting/Unprotecting sheets with macros

This is a very helpful technique, but is there a way to set the protection so that the user can not view the macro code and the password?

    Thanks,

    Hi eldwardo,

In the VBA Editor (ALT+F11), click Tools -> VBAProject Properties -> Protection tab.

On that tab, check the box for 'Lock project for viewing', then type in a password twice in the textboxes provided.

Save and close your workbook. The next time you open the workbook and try to access the VBA code, you'll need that password to do so.
