Palindromic problems!

Just about all of us are fortunate to have lived in two years that are palindromes. Most people live in at most one. A year is a palindrome if it reads the same backwards as forwards. So 1991 and 2002 are palindromes but 2005 is not.
a) Create a spreadsheet model that gives a list of all the four-digit years that are palindromes, beginning with 1001 and extending on down in ascending order.
b) Create a similar spreadsheet model for all five-digit years that are palidromes, beginning with 10001.
