Thanks for posting strikeofdawn because I actually just popped on to ask a very similar question. Rather than create a new topic I thought I could just extend yours.

I am looking to assign a vba macro to a button on a spreadsheet I am doing which when executed will automatically add a new line after a pre-defined row (ex. row 25) as well as 'fill' any formulas that were assigned to the previous row. Another question on that would be whether it would be possible to include more code that will (when the new row is created, row 26) automatically enter the row # in the first cell

I also have very limited experience when it comes to macros so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope I didn't take away from your question, feel free to move me around admins
