Macro to open workbook, run macro, save, and close.

Once again, I need to call upon the help of those most experienced in this forum.. I have a macro in a workbook that I use to gather data from various files and dump it into this workbook. This workbook has SOOO many files it has to lookup that it takes almost 8 hours to download all of the data. I set up the windows scheduler to open the workbook at 8:00pm every night, and I need a macro that will automatically start my macro for downloading the data. Then, once that macro is finished running, I would like the file to save as the filename_"date"_"time".xls anc close.

Can anyone help me get started?

How do you propose to run any macros without being able to enable macros as the workbook is opened?
    Hope that helps.

Well, I saved the workbook as a Macro Enabled Workbook, but I guess if that didn't work then I would have to leave it open over night right?
