VBA if formula based on cell colour

    Hi,

i don't even know if this is possible, but can you using VBA say that

If cell A5 = Total, go across to column 'F' and in 'F5' sum all the cells above until you get to a cell which is filled in blue

    thanks in advance

    Hi,

Not quite sure of this is what you want: enter the function
    =SumIfBlue in F5

    Hi,

thanks but i keep getting an error msg.....i have attached an example. So in 'F8' and 'F15' i would expect a sum of the 6 numbers above it. The issue is that the number of lines above will vary, the only constant is the blue line and the total text.....which is why i'm trying to use VBA code

    thanks
