Transferring Data from one Workbook to Another based on whether or not the cell is empty

    Hi Guys,

I got an excel workbook with information that I transferred from Microsoft Access. The information is located on the Export Sheet of a master workbook. Now I want to export the data to a second sheet called Master on another pre-existing workbook (Tax Numbers) without replacing the old information. The data that I want to transfer should be based on the condition of whether or not the information is filled in column M. Any ideas or pre-existing vba codes that I can use? Hope this makes sense

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Here you go. As mentioned I want to transfer the data to another prexising workbook based on the criteria that the column Tax Number(M) is filled without erasing any of the prexisting data. Thanks!

    Ok

First the Files should be in the same folder.

    One should be called Master.xlsm

    The other Export.xlsm

I have put a button in cell A1 of Master.xlsm

The button will copy your data from Export.xlsm and put it
under the existing data in Master.xlsm

It will then close Export.xlsm and Save Master.xlsm

Hi its kind of working but if I want to use a specific sheet within a pre-existing workbook as the Export how would I do that? Right now the export is the workbook itself if I am not mistaken

    Read Post 1.

    You talk of two workbooks.

I guess I should have been more clear and said that there were more than one sheet in the master workbook. Sorry about that
