Need help using VB to change the colour of a cell

Hi there sorry if this is in the wrong forum, im unsure where it should be!!

I am doing a project for work, its not worth me going into detail but i'll run down the basics that I need.

I need the user to be able to select a row, or single cell and then click a tick box to change the colour of the cell(s).

See attached for an example... I hope you can help, im good at designing but useless at VB!

    Matthew.

What is the source of the tickbox - Controls ToolBox or Forms menu?

I have no idea roy, I am just asking if it is possible and if so, how I go about it.

I have the user selecting the colours manually, but would prefer them to be able to tick a box to change the colour of a cell....

You can do this easily enough. Add a CheckBox from the Controls Toolbox. Then make sure you are in design view by clicking the setsquare icon on the toolbar, click the code icon and paste this code

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Using the Properties icon then change the control's caption to "Turn green" or whatever
