Macro that copies information from one workbook into a rollbook

    Hi,

I've been working on a rollbook for a while now. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me of a macro that takes the information from one spreedsheet "data", create the appropriate number of rows within the rollbook months themselves and input the data without effecting the existing information/code already within the rollbook.

    I've attached a rough example,

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

    Cheers.

    Rob

    Edit: roll password is "8sigroll"

    Hi Rylo,

I appreciate the code. I need to ammend it however and could use some help.

    What I need:

    1. How can I make it insert a new row to copy the informaiton in to?
    2. Is there a code that if any information is in any of the cells of the rollbook, the code wont copy its corresponding information from the data sheet? (this will prevent overwriting and such?)

    Cheers

    Rob

Can you update your example file to more fully explain your situation. Give a couple of before / after examples for clarity. The way I read your initial post, I thought the filter would cover, but now I'm not sure.
