    Activate-Deactivate worksheet buttons

Can I activate a worksheet button (make click-able) by determining if a macro is assigned or not?

    Hello Rick,

You already know I can't speak for Excel 2007, but in the earlier versions a Forms Control cannot be grayed out and can only be disabled if it has a macro assigned to it. A Control Toolbox button can be grayed out and disabled, but requires checking if there are Event Code Procedures in the VBE. With Control Toolbox controls, you can't simply check the "OnAction" property.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
