Excel Geniuses...i'm having a problem with choosing the right insurance...and i want to figure it out through an excel model coz i believe in excel science...so..i know i'm supposed to calculate it through IF function but don't know where to apply it...here are the details
My yearly medical expense is $400...pliz tell me what my total expenses would be if i chose any of the insurance.
here's the plan the insurance company is offering me...
Option 1
Deductible: $1500 (deductible is the amount u pay before ur insurance covers u)
Annual Premium: $1825
Option 2
Deductible: $500
Co-Payment: 20% (the percentage u pay of the bill once u reach $500 in medical expenses...the company pays 80%)
Annual Premium: $2016
Option 3
Deductible: $250
Co-Payment: 20%
Annual Premium: $2245
Option 4
Deductible: $100
Co-Payment: 10%
Annual Premium: $2577
Could u pliz calculate it using IF function...i wanna see how u do it...
