    Macro message yet no macros running....

    Hiya all,

    I have removed all macros from a workbook, yet when I open up the file the macro security promt message appears?

    Firstly why?

    Secondly how can I remove?

    You need to remove the module ,
    even if the module is empty, excel will still display the message.
    Go to vba editor, right click on the module and select remove module, don't export it.
