File Open List in floating box

Good morning nigelog

Have a look at the attached file. When you click on the button a small userform will open that shows all open workbooks within the current instance of Excel.

There are two buttons ; Refresh and Close. Double click on any of the files listed to jump to that file. This form can remain open on screen while the user carries on working.

sounds perfect for my requirements, however I have a problem downloading excel attachements from the forum for some reason. Would you mind resending as zip I think I have a few days left on my evaluation licence for zip. rgds Nigel

Hi Dominicb,
its what I'm looking for but when I press the reset button to repopulate as files opened it starts to display duplicates. Just pressing refresh within your sheet does same. Is there a way to automate refresh and avoid duplicates?

Hi RoyUK, your suggestion makes sense (and I will probably go that route) but the ability to see for a while who has what open by a cursory look at their screen will hopefully trim down what these individuals have open unneccessarily.

*tsk* Forgot to clear the listbox before adding items - just added that button as an afterthought, hence not thinking ahead.

Try this one instead.

Try adding this code to your ThisWorkbook module.
