worksheet shows dates as number and formulas as formulas

dates are numbers and formulas don't calculate, but show the formula instead.
For the date problem I've tried
changing the format
text to columns selecting date format

for the formulas I've tried, calculate now, view normal etc

does anybody know?

I guess the cell format of formula is set to "Text".
If so, change the format to "General" then press F9

Thanks for trying, but I've tried every kind of formatting and I pressed F9 and neither helped. Still wondering...
