    Excel dropdown lists

    Help!

    I need to create a formula which will calculate a figure depending on what someone chooses in a dropdown list, can anyone help me?

    Basically, on Sheet1 I have columns which you need to choose information from a dropdown list. The information for that dropdown list is in Sheet2.

    In sheet2, I have 1 column with a list of names in the dropdown list on sheet1, then in the next column I have a figure.
    i.e Sheet 2, A2 = Amanda, B2 = 100,
    A3 = Nicci, B3 = 200,
    A4 = Louise, B3 = 300.
    If someone chooses Amanda from the dropdown list on sheet 1, i need the formula to show 100 as it is associated with amanda!
    Does that make sense?

    Hope it does!
