Hi Guys
I got a question about dynamic link: I have some links to a data vender's software, for instance
=PROPHETX|QUOTE!'QNGM8[DTN:NYMEX]?last'
wehre the "8" in the formula means 2008 and it can be any year, say 9 for 2009, 10 for 2010.

Since I have lots of this kind of links, it is impossible for me to change them manually once I select a new year. Is there anyway to make this changed automatically?

Not sure if this will work, but try using Indirect:

=INDIRECT("PROPHETX|QUOTE!'QNGM" & A1 & "[DTN:NYMEX]?last'")

Where A1 has the digit you would like to use for the year.
