Creating macros in Excel so info in Access database can be shown in spreedsheet

    Hi,

I'm completing an assignment for uni and am complelty stuck on one of the parts that asks me to use excel. To begin with we needed to create a database within Access, I have completed this part but then the assignment asks us to create a query macro within excel and assign to it to a pushbutton, so that the data collected in the Access database can be refreshed in the spreadsheet. I have tried to record the macro but nothing comes up. My tutor tells me that when recording a macro, I should have a toolbar come up within excel but that doesn't happen either. It is excel 2003. Was wondering whether anyone may be able to help?

    Thank you

Put this macro in your access file and associates it to a command button.
Then, in vba window, select menu tools, references and select 'Micorosft Excel xx.0 Object Librery':
