I have a spread sheet with over 1200 ranges that need to be named. There is a pattern to the name ranges. Does anyone know of a way to automate the naming process???
It starts at column G and only effects every other row until AY
It also starts at Row 11 and consists of two rows. so it does not include row 13. 14 and 15 would be the next range in row g then f etc.
The names can be identified by the header on each column and product on the row above where the range starts. For instance on the first label it would be D7+A10 and that range would be E11 and E12... One note on the labels. While the titles in A will not change the Lable in the header will eventually change since it comes from a differest sheet. For lableing purposes we can make the lable and I dont believe that once its identified it is dependent upon that cell any longer... Not sure though.
This pattern continues on through row 167. In all there are 24 columns worth of data.
I think this is a tough one but this forum never ceases to amaze me at the knowledge provided here. Looking forward to hearing from you...
