need to subtract a fixed date from todays date I need the formula for this
=TODAY()-A1 where A1 contains a date.
or
=TODAY()-"1/1/2008" if you a specific date in the formula.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

With NBVC formula today - today will equal 0.
If you want it to display 1 amend the formula too
