    Run-time error '1004':

Paste method of Worksheet class failed.

    The Explanation
Ok, so I am playing around with spreadsheets currently, I have made a very simple table with two worksheets in. The first is a table with the name of five retail outlets, I have added autofilters to the column headings. In the rows below I have numbers, what they represent is pointless to explain here.

On the second worksheet I have a list of the 5 outlets along with an empty cell alongside them. On the right of that empty cell is a button, this is the same for the five listed outlets.

Using Walmart as an example, if I was to add a 50 next to their name, and click the box I was hoping for that number 50 to be carried over to the first worksheet and be placed in the first "Blank" cell under it's own heading, thus the use of the autofilter. However, I get that error as first stated.
