How create first document, excel VBA????

Hey everyone!

I have this mission from school to make a VBA-job. I have now learnt some codes and I think I understand how the basic stuff works, but the most basic of the basic, I have still not understood. How do I start the first document in Excel? I am going to write some lists about makroeconomic developpment for a country. Do I just write the list with all the numbers and all that stuff in Excel and then add the VBA-fonctions or do I write the whole thing in VBA? Do I write every word that is visible in Excel in the VBA-modules, or is it only the fonctions that I write in VBA?

I think you need to explain more fully what you are attempting
