It works.
The calucations take time, because the workbook has one sheet as a master database with over 400 rows and 20 columns of data.
There are 18 other sheets that draw information from this database to generate a variety of summary reports and Graphs. Some of the summary reports have error checking formulas that look for missing data and alert the user if they didn't fill in certain information on the database sheet.
With your code it defaults to Manual calculation and its only a one time wait at the end, after all the changes have been made.
